This
photo was taken in September 2008. I like the
meditative way in which one is forced to work when photographing at
night. The darkness slows one's processes down and this lends itself to
a contemplative approach, perhaps akin to that which is necessitated by
using a large-format camera. As I took this photo some young men drove
past, yelling abuse out of the car window; but I have a photo.
